Urban Route Candás- Perlora (Inclusive Variant and Cyclist)

Taking the port of Candas as its source, many routes can be made to the shore of the sea with beautiful views, which are easy to achieve, because they are firm, and also because they have minimum levels, which are very accessible to all.

Perhaps the most popular is the one that takes us along the walk along the beaches from Candas to the Perlora entrance with a travel distance of 2.4 km.

The Perlora route, from the entrance to the other end where it can be linked to the Via Verde del Tranqueru at the Parking sur Carranques, is another kilometre.

This journey through Perlora can be made by cliffs, although in this case the route is not accessible, and is not recommended for cyclo-touristic use. For these two cases, there is the option of walking along the streets of urbanisation between green areas, also very close to the sea.

If the forces accompany us, once on the last Perlora beach, we can continue to Xivares along the Tranqueru Green Way. It will be 1.6 km more, and clearly, if we want to return to Candas, from Xivares, we will talk about a total of 10 km.

These paths also link to the Formiga route (from the same Candas, see La Formiga route), which is already much more demanding. This route is suitable for people travelling with difficulty or in a wheelchair, but it is recommended to avoid going up to the viewpoint of La Formiga, because it is a stretch with a long gradient and no hard shoulder.

Candas-Perlora route 3.4 km

It is accessible and used by pedestrians and cyclotourists.
