The Municipality is the controller of the processing of cookies on the website, owned by itself and by third parties, which make it possible to improve the functionality of the sections and elements present, as well as the provision of the services offered on our website.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small files that are stored on the equipment – computer, tablet, smartphone – from which you browse. They are technical elements, which serve to store data and transmit information to the entity responsible for their installation.
They can collect information on aspects of your navigation (visit, type of browser, location, origin and links visited, time of arrival on the website). But we will also be able to individualise your visit, with the session ID.
Types of Cookies.
Cookies can be proprietary (they are sent to the user’s terminal from the domain of the publisher providing the service to the user) or third-party (they are sent to the user’s terminal by a third party other than the publisher of the domain providing the service to the user).
Depending on whether they remain in session (they are used to collect and store data while the user is accessing a website and are removed from the browser at the end of the session or when the browser is closed) or Persistents ( the data are kept on the device for a period defined by the controller and even for several years).
The cookies used may be of a technical nature (they allow the user to browse through a website, platform or application and to use the different options or services available on it), for the customisation of the visit (they allow the user to access the service with some general features predefined according to a number of criteria in the user’s terminal), for analysis (they allow the user to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked, using this information when measuring the activity of the websites and for the development of users’ browsing profiles).
What Cookies do we use?
We use ‘analytic’ cookies that, together with the information on the hosting server, obtain information related to the number of visits on our website and the sections that have the most acceptance. If you are on our website, cookies will record the session and references.
Our cookies are analytics, because they allow us to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked, using this information to measure the activity of the websites and to create users’ browsing profiles. Some are necessary and without them, the website itself or any of its contained sections or elements cannot be displayed. Others are functional.
Data collected during navigation
The Municipality only obtains and keeps the following information about visitors to our website:

- The internet address from which the link to our website departed.
- The number of visitors per day for each section of the Website.
- The browser used to view the Website.

How to configure/administer cookies.
Any user of a website may uninstall or refuse to allow the installation of cookies. Most browsers offer ways to control cookie behaviour. To do this, you can use the settings of the browser – search in settings. You can use private navigation or mystery shopping.
Private navigation mode
You can use the private or mystery navigation mode that most browsers in the market allow.
When you use the private mode, avoid saving visited sites, storing tracking cookies, saving download history or archiving login data. No passwords or form information are kept.
What is not avoided is that the internet provider knows the accesses. The IP used by the user remains visible. Access in private mode also does not protect against cyber-attacks.
To access private navigation, in Chrome from the configuration tool you access ‘New Incognito Window’; in Edge from the setup tool access to “Ventana InPrivate Nueva”; Firefox is accessed from Archive by accessing ‘New Private Window’; in IE 11 from the Security Toolkit and then access ‘InPrivate Navigation’, in Opera you can access from the Menu and access ‘New Private Window’.

Do you know the monitoring technologies?
Both web pages and e-mails (HTML) may include other tracking technologies, for example: the so-called ‘Beacons web’.
“Web Beacons” are small “transparent” images that can provide statistical information, and have cookie-like purposes. They are often used together with cookies, although they are not directly stored.
If you disable cookies, the ‘web Beacons’ may still be running, but with a more restricted functionality.
