Located in the Bo Sopeñes in the Parroquia del Valle. To access this site, it is recommended that the Molín be located from AS-19, address Gijón-Avilés, P.K. 11,500, where the CE-5 road, direction Santa Eulalia del Valle, is taken, crossing the EC-6, with a direction to the Arreo Mount, approximately 200 metres to the right.
This mill is the only one in Carreño that held a permit from the Water Commissioner in 1915 to be used for milling until approximately 1933, when it ceased its activity. The Molín was commanded by Álvaro Cuervo, after reaching an agreement with five more people.
Its characteristics are as follows: Stone canal up to 7 metres high, reconstructed and merendal moxeca. Rodezno is semi-destroyed. The deckhouse of this molin is made of worked stone and its floor is also made of stone.
Since 1990, it has become the property of Emilio Martínez Menéndez (Emilio Repinaldo), who lives approximately 80 metres from it. It was rebuilt by him in 1998 and its conservation status was very good. There are valuable ethnographic heritage inside the mill and in the Repinaldo bread; Palanganero, a cradle of xergón made with panoya steers, a wooden chocolate, a goxa and a wooden gallipu, among others.
The waters of the River Sopeñes were used for its operation, and as there is not enough water flow, it is not used as a molin.
