Difficulty: Easy.
Journey: Port of Candás to look at Formiga: 1.6 km and from here to Loma Chevina: 7 km. Pedestrian and cyclotourist use.
The Formiga route runs through the Formiga Cuesta on Monte Fuxa, where the Mirador de la Formiga is located. Leaving the port, we are looking for and going up the streets of Pedro Herrero, Carlos Albo Kay and the rise of San Roque (1.6 km).
We already enjoy spectacular views in the Mirador.
After a descent (600 m), we arrived at the Perlora camp, where they will link to the Urban Route.
There is an option to extend the route, from the Mirador by making the upper section of La Formiga Loma de Chevian, which allows us to travel through the entire Loma del Monte Fuxa and enjoy unique views of the candasin villa.
Once the route has been completed, following the road, we return to the Mirador de la Formiga where we can decide whether we will return to Candás or go down to the Urban Route at the level of the Perlora Camping.
