If you study these routes by Carreño, you see that, on some sections, several routes may coincide, allowing us to combine them. This route, which has been developed by José Luis Carrio Solares (http://sendabtt.blogspot.com/), is offered to you with the permission of the author.
Starting from Gijón, he runs through several parishes in Carreño, linking some of the routes described, and which his author details as carefully as he does in practice:
‘Starting from Gijón, the route runs towards Veriña de Abajo and descends through Camín de La Cuesta to the AS-118 road that runs to El Empalme to continue towards Guimarán and then Prendes. In Prendes, the tour of the Clarinian Routes Viaje Redondo and Buroña began. At the end of the journey, Albandi continues to Xivares to connect with the Del Tranqueru Green Way, passing it until the end at Perlora. When leaving the Residential City, the Pictoresca Route (La Formiga section) begins and ends in Candás. From Candás it continues towards Regueral and then starts the third Clariniana Ruta Doña Berta which ends in Zanzabornín. From there it continues towards the Embalse de La Granda, then returning to Candás via Romadonga and La Ren. The journey ends at the FEVE Station in Candás. It is an asphalt tour, with the exception of the Tranqueru Green Way and a section before arriving at the La Granda Reservoir. There are two ascending slopes with a considerable percentage: from Guimarán to Prendes (500 m) and another from Regueral to Alto de La Chlesia (approx. 125 m). Length). Before arriving at the La Granda Reservoir, an area (700 m), which is privately owned by ArcelorMittal, is crossed and can be avoided by continuing in a straight line instead of turning right onto the access road to the La Granda Residence. The alternative passage area appears on the maps as ‘El Cotarón’
