Candás Square

The Municipal Market, or Plaza d’Abastos, is a traditional commercial format in the centre of Candás. It has the status of a public service and each of its stands is intended for retail sale, favouring trade in traditional products.

Local Trade Network

The Municipality of Carreño and the Union of Merchants of Asturias are launching the Proximity Trade Network, a promotion and support campaign for small shops in the municipality, as an alternative or complement to supermarkets and hypermarkets. Many of these shops offer home delivery or the possibility of ordering by telephone.
