Carreño is a municipality on the central Asturian coast, between Gijón and Avilés, where the sea and the countryside are always one step away. Its capital, Candás, is a seaman’s town with a historic harbour, and the rest of the municipality is divided between rural parishes, cliffs and small beaches.
