The Santo Ángel de la Guarda is the patron of Prendes, and although it is 1 March, it is held on the first Saturday of March.
The sacramental festivals, consisting of sacramental events on the occasion of his patrona, take place on 15 August.
The images of San Melchor and Santo Ángel de La Guarda, made after the Civil War, are currently depicted inside the Ermita. Their conservation status is good.
