It is a magnificent building consisting of a school for girls, a school for boys, a teacher’s house and a teacher’s house.

The appearance is of an eclectic style building with a cover on the decorated axis.

This construction was carried out by Manuel González Martínez, who built it between 1920 and 1922 and completed it. This person came from Cuba, so his Indiano style may be due. His builder was named the favourite son of the village (by agreement of the City Council), for having contributed greatly to the renovation and improvement of the Church, as well as providing financial support for various works in the municipality and for its construction and donation of the ‘Las Escuelas de Logrezana’ building. The schools were handed over by philanthropy Manuel González Martínez at 12 a.m. on 8 October. The event was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality, General Military Governor Losada, Bishop of the Diocese Juan Bautista Luis Pérez, Magistral of Covadonga Luis Miranda, many other local and provincial authorities, and the village of Logrezana in large numbers.

A marble film was discovered, in honour of his donator, with this inscription:

‘National schools: Mr Manuel González Martínez. The residents of Logrezana devote this memory to perpetuating the memory of the foundation of this building in 1923.”

The building currently retains its school use in part, while the remaining parts are dedicated to socio-cultural activities in the parish. It has a Digital Village (rural telecentro), dedicated spaces at the headquarters of the Asociación de Vecinos Logrezana Existe? an area conditioned for courses and a small Library.
